Proposed Mood Boards
The following mood board is showing the idea of how the proposed consumer demographic would be. The main idea is to focus on allowing a gender-neutral brand. Not focusing on any age, gender or body size. Which is why the images that are chosen are to show the outdoors lifestyle branding which would be aimed for the new A&F. Showing an outdoor adventurous lifestyle brand for the new consumer who would enjoy their time. By looking into research in the market and using consumers online forum and group ideas I shows they haven’t gotten the option of outdoor clothing size it would make a new interesting idea for Abercrombie & Fitch within consumer eyes.
The competitor’s mood board is showing the new competition, which Abercrombie would face within in the outdoors fashion market. Using the idea of the competitor social media and websites and compare the idea of similar layout and design for clothing throughout. This shows the market position, but A&F would be shown as a new high street fashion outdoor clothing, which would be trendy for the consumers and different from competitors. The competitors added are the main outdoor retailers currently within the market, showing outlets and brands, giving a visual of the proposed market option.
Social media would be key to promoting and advertising the new marketing. Which is why there is a range of images which could be used as representation of what can be looked at. By ideas from competitors' social media and using the outdoor adventure style for different activities the brand would be looking into. As well as the different audience, which will still be used in social media as it would be one to separate the brand from others. Marketing in a new direction by looking into new products that would be used and how that would relate to the audience.
